The Durham Chorale
Membership in the Chorale is open to all adults in the Triangle area. The Chorale holds open enrollment for both fall and spring semesters. No formal auditions are required (except for Choraleers), but a good sense of pitch, and previous choral experience, are both desirable. Singers first joining the Chorale, or returning after an absence of more than two years, will need to come to a voice-placement session prior to the beginning of rehearsals for the current semester. Dates and locations for these sessions, and for Choraleers auditions, are announced on this page and on the TriangleSings! Auditions and Calls page.
Rehearsals are Tuesdays from 7-9 PM at the Durham Arts Council building, at 120 Morris Street, Durham. (Get directions.)
The scheduled sessions for new-member placements and Choraleers auditions for fall 2008 are now closed.
Semester dues of $35 are to be paid at the first rehearsal.
You may bring cash or a check or money order payable to "Durham Chorale".
